Rupert Withers comes from a rock & heavy metal music background.  He spent 35+ years working in the music industry as a freelance label manager and PR/marketing manager.  At one point he also managed bands such as Vixen and members of Saxon.

Latterly, he moved into audio production.  During his career, he had a sideline as a sound engineer and tour manager for various bands, and was lucky enough to tour across the world.  As a result of this, he was entrusted to mix a few live albums for release, and eventually decided to set up his own recording studio.  In the last few years he has been developing a system for mixing Dolby Atmos Music, whilst also getting back into playing himself.

He has worked with Mike on editing and post production on Laughing Stock releases for a number of years, and has recently become a director.
